And what of big sister? She's lovely as usual. She is inquisitive, imaginative, and oppositional--very, very three. Last week in Arkansas she had nary a time-out, and I have solved the behavior problem: I need to import her cousins and instruct them to run around with and entertain her. Everyone is so much happier come the end of the day.

Anneke has so much hair now! Is it just me or does she look much older than her three years?
We had a similar experience with Hen. The last (and only) time Hen's been tired enough to go to bed at the end of the day was after he spent five hours at his cousin's birthday party. Good thing for us his cousins live closer than Arkansas.

Cousins rule. There's no two ways about it. I feel so lucky we have 3 right up the hill, 2 of whom are babysitting age.
