After starting in late June, moving temporarily into an apartment, moving back temporarily into the basement, and after watching hopeful completion date after after hopeful completion date pass us by, we finally negotiated a "its done enough" date with our builder and finally slept in our own beds on Sunday night. After four days of moving boxes and cleaning later, we hosted Thanksgiving for our local family at 2:00 p.m. today.
We have lots for which to be thankful. We are lucky to be able to improve our house like this, and we have to keep reminding ourselves of this as the schedule keeps slipping.
After moving in and cooking like mad for Thanksgiving, it is now quite apparent that we do indeed have a kick ass kitchen.
Pictures below of some highlights.

It looks AMAZING!!!! Hopefully you'll love it enough every day to forget all the inconvenience. Or at least not care so much about it.
Great work, guys!
Hmmmm, a Bleckmann remodel that didn't last the length of your child's highschool days?
I don't understand anything any more....is there no certainty in the world?
Hope you are all well,

After growing up with that, I vowed "never again."
By the way, the remodel you refer to is still incomplete.
It looks stunning! I love the new refrigerator/oven and cabinets wall! The island is to die for! So many improvements and new conveniences for the chefs in the house. I can't wait to see it in person!
